How is my Wellespan score calculated?

To help you better interpret your results, we’re excited to introduce health pillars—a new way to view your health through a more holistic lens. These pillars—Brain, Heart, Stamina, Sleep, Gut, Hormone, Immune, Metabolic, and Organ—group related biomarkers to show how different aspects of your health affect your daily life.

Instead of focusing on individual biomarkers, you'll now see how they collectively contribute to each pillar. We calculate your health pillar scores using a proprietary algorithm that weighs each biomarker based on its relevance to that specific pillar.

For example, in the Heart pillar, the Total Cholesterol/HDL Ratio plays a more significant role than Total Cholesterol alone. If your ratio is outside the optimal range, it will lower your Heart score more than an isolated high cholesterol value would. This method ensures each score reflects the most meaningful insights.

Finally, we average the scores from all pillars to generate your Wellespan score—a single, clear metric to help you track your overall health over time.
